What's new at Entertron?

Now available on our web site - www.entertron.com is the latest version of Eware32. It is version 2.11. This version fixes some monitoring problems we have had. In addition, for you long time Entertron customers who use the Gtek prom programmer, this feature now works.

The software is in a password protected zip file. The password is the same as the one you received previously.

We have updated the following pages:

with a guarantee to our OEM customers - "We will not sell any product to your customers". As we have done for many years, any current OEM customer, who's customer contacts Entertron for the purpose of purchasing a replacement controller for a price that would be less than what they would be purchasing it from the OEM, we graciously refer them to the OEM and will not sell to them. What is new? We have now put this guarantee in writing on the above pages of our web site for the world to see. No other PLC manufacturer has done this. Entertron's purpose is to enhance it's customer relationship.

We will be posting an eBlog that will contain opinions, observations and comments related to the fascinating world of PLCs. There will be a link on our home page that will take you to our eBlog page. Our intent is to comment daily, but this may not always be possible.

CLOSING NOTES

When your focus are OEM's and your market strategy is to provide a proprietary looking product that they can call their own, it becomes challenging to find customers that are willing to have their story told as part of an application article. We will have some articles coming up...once these new applications have some running time under their belts.

Once we compose the article with the appropriate wording, related to your application and the web page is indexed by the search engines , Entertron will generate hits to these pages from individuals and organizations looking for your type of solution. As part of the program, a link to your web site and contact information will be included.

David is also absent from this news letter because we are offering program development services...so he has been very busy.

Why would you use our program development service?

1. You are not familiar with PLC programming

2. Your engineering department is stretched to the limit with no additional time for a new project

Our rate is $75 / hr. A more than reasonable rate, considering some of our competitors charge upwards of $150.00 / hr. The online stores will not even offer a service like this.

Based on your specifications, Entertron will provide you with an estimated number of hours to develop your program. Included in this estimate, will be hours allocated for testing and any modifications that will be needed. We will also do operator interface and touch screen programming should your application use these products.
