with cellular service. The GD-01 offers RS232 or
RS485 serial ports for communication to other
serial devices. Configuration software is
included with this revolutionary product to set
up communications between the modem and your
serial device.

As
mentioned previously, the GD-01 includes the
cellular service you will require. The greatest
advantage to the service is the Fixed IP address.
A GSM modem with a fixed IP address allows you
total access from either point of origination
without any limitations. You can initiate dial
out when an alarm has been triggered or the PC
can initate contact to check status, download
current information or make changes to current
information.
