Entertron
Industries offers a reasonably priced program
development service for OEMs.
Not
only do we create PLC programs for Entertron's
controllers, but will also create operator
interface and touch screen programs for the
products we market (Beijer H series, KEP,
Optimation)
How
does our program work?
Customers
will submit to Entertron their
application information (order of
operation / state diagram).
Upon
receipt, Entertron will review all
application information and generate a
preliminary quote for the number of hours
required to develop your program.
Once
the customer has contracted with
Entertron to develop your application, we
create a state diagram of your
application, based on the original
information provided.
The
state diagram is then sent to you for
review and approval. Upon receiving
approval, Entertron proceeds with the
development phase of the project.
Should
there be additions to the original
application submission, Entertron
reserves the right to adjust our
preliminary quote accordingly.
Our
hourly rate is $80.00 per hour with a
minimum of 10 hours for any project.
($100.00 per hour for expedited / rush
requests)
Unless
there are significant modifications to
the customer approved state diagram,
minor modifications will be included at
no additional charge.
The
customer will be responsible for
performing all testing. Should there be
any bug fixes or modifications, so long
as it does not significantly add to the
scope of the project, are included in the
original quote.
All
quotes do not include on site startup,
unless specifically requested.
All
mechanical and electrical development are
the responsibility and property of the
OEM, unless Entertron is specifically
requested to assist, and is stated during
the quoting stages of the project.
What
are the benefits for you?
As
an OEM in these challenging times where
market competition has never been
tougher, not to mention global, companies
must remain competitive, and therefore
lean. Sometimes, your budget will not
allow for a dedicated design engineer or
programmer. Therefore, outsourcing a
portion of your development with a
company that will protect your interests,
such as Entertron, has benefited many
companies.
In
this very competitive environment, you
may have fewer people wearing more hats
of responsibility. As a result, these key
people don't have the time to work on
another project exclusively. By
partnering with Entertron, you eliminate
any learning curve required for
programming. You allow your key people to
focus on other aspects of product
development, while enabling Entertron to
focus on what it knows...programming its
ePLCs and interface products. Therefore,
you will maximize the utilization of your
resources by allowing those to specialize
on what they know, and therefore reducing
waste in the product development stage.
As
a result of contracting with Entertron,
the materials we generate for your
application (PLC program and interface
program) belong to the OEM. All materials
will be forwarded to you, while an
archived copy will remain at Entertron,
should anything happen to your original
documentation.
Entertron
will not share or use any proprietary
information in conjunction with other
projects, therefore maintaining the
highest level of security of your
intellectual property.
If
you are interested in contracting Entertron to
program your application, please complete and
submit our product
recommendation form
