Entertron reintroduces the concept of FREE PLC programming software. As a company, Entertron was first to offer Free PLC programming software way back in 1984. Our competitors charge anywhere from $100 to $1500+ for PLC programming software. Some even charge a yearly maintenance / upgrade fee or a site / user license fee. If you are an OEM and you send the software to your customers, you must pay for multiple user licenses. Entertron is once again changing the way business is done. PLC Software is just one part of the equation when considering a PLC for your application. We believe that once you have purchased (or in Entertron’s case received) the software, you shouldn’t be required to purchase it again and again and again, when the PLC manufacturer comes out with the latest and greatest version.

Although what we are offering is probably not as sophisticated or as flashy as our competitor’s PLC programming software package, we are providing a fairly comprehensive package with some nice features.

Eware32 is Entertron’s latest relay ladder logic programming software. One package for all our controllers:

Built on a Microsoft Windows 32 bit platform, Eware32 can be operated on the following operating systems:

Eware32 provides both a simple yet comprehensive programming package, providing an uncomplicated method of program creation in conjunction with documentation, thus offering a comprehensive package for the sole purpose of PLC program development.There are three separate operating modes within Eware32: Ladder Mode – For creation of ladder diagram Simulator Mode – For off line simulation Online Mode – For download and monitoring of PLC through RS232 port
Ladder Mode:
Our Ladder Editor Includes a Cross Reference Table and Comment Section with up to 1400 character comment capacity per ladder rung
Within the Ladder (draw) mode, we provide easy editors that allow you to find and select the functions you are looking for.
	Contact Editor provides you with all the parameters allowed for developing a program on the Left hand side of the ladder rung.You have the ablitity to create your own labels (nick names) through the software and thus display both at the same time within the ladder editor. Capabilities Include: Tap – ability to create a drum counter Variable Timers / Counters
	Output Editor provides you with all the parameters allowed for developing a program on the righ hand side (coil) of the ladder rung.You have the ablitity to create your own labels (nick names) through the software and thus display both at the same time within the ladder editor. Capabilities Include: 16 bit binary accumulator Master Control Relay (MCR) – control entire blocks of ladder logic program in one step Shift and Reset Shift – Create a variable size shift register for storing step functions System reset – clear all internal status bits and registers Counter range – 1 to 65535 Drum counter – up to 65535 Timer range: .01 to 655.35 seconds .1 to 6553.5 seconds
	Math Function Editor contains the parameters allowed for all math functions found in Entertron’s controllers.Capabilities Include: Five function math – add, subtract, multiply, divide, compare Data ports – inputs can be read into accumulator as numbers for use in program Jump Instruction – speed scan rate by bypassing portion of program not in use Get and Put – load and write value to accumulator from register Pack and Unpack – correlate bits of accumulator with a series of relay coils Read a TC register value Indirect get and put – (Elite-2000 only)

Entertron’s software setup is unique in that we do not provide a set number of timers or counters. Instead, we have created TC registers that can be set up as either a timer or counter. Other controllers provide a set number of timers and counters…therefore if you run out of one, but have plenty of another, you are stuck.
Simulator and Online Modes:
The Simulator and Online Monitoring display in the same manner. Both functions are enabled through the “view” option on the top menu bar. Eware32 can operate in only one mode at a time.Both functions offer ladder flow capability whereby all current flow is identified by the color red. (When utilizing our ModBus O/S, ladder flow is not available.)
The table monitor can be found at the bottom of your ladder diagram for both Simulation and Online Modes. The table monitor provides you with the following information: Accumulator Input Status Output Status TC Bit Status TC Register Information Internal Relay Status

Entertron’s Relay Ladder Logic Programming Software offers many features that you would not expect to find in “Free” Software.
